Die Kothe VODKA Linie

Brennereiunterteil vollisoliert und wie Sammelgefäße verklinkert bzw. aus Edelstahl gefertigt.

Die Kothe WHISKEY Linie

Zwei Rohbrandblasen mit je 1.500 Ltr. Füllinhalt – dampfbeheizt – Blasendurchmesser 1.600 mm – mit Isolierung und Verklinkerung
Die Anlage ist mit einer völlig glatten und hochglanzpolierten Oberfläche gefertigt. Das besonders massive, harte und gefügeverdichtete Kupfer ist identisch mit Hammerschlag-Qualität.
Zwei Edelstahlkühler, mit Kupfer ummantelt, sind auf ein Rohbrandsammelgefäß mit 1.500 Ltr. Inhalt montiert.
Kupferne Geistrohre in Spezialausführung konisch und gebogen, in Handarbeit gefertigt.
Zwei Alkoholvorlagen mit Beleuchtung und Stauungsanzeiger.
Feinbrandblase, 1.500 Ltr. Füllinhalt, mit Kühler und Geistrohr in Ausführung wie oben beschrieben.

Buying a still is a major investment.
We know first hand the trials and tribulations of gaining the kind of information and advice necessary to make an educated decision. When we decided to leave our academic jobs to bring my grandfathers distilling legacy to the United States we spent months assessing which still to buy.

We wanted to get more information than we received in the United States. Since we are both fluent in German, and have family in the distilling business in Austria, we thought that we would expand our search to Germany and Austria to get a better understanding of still manufacturing from its source. Distilling in Germany and Austria is much more common than in the United States and it is there that we attended trade shows for still manufactures and asked experienced and successful distillers about their stills. Superaromator (special distillation column)

Our columns are generally 450mm in diameter with a chosen number of bubblecaps.
Bubblecaps have received a great amount of attention in the last couple of decades. They are one of the key elements for an aromatic and efficient distillation. The differences in construction are significant and should be considered in detail before making a decision.

Kothe bubblecaps have a new and patented construction with increased copper surface and turbulent motion of the liquid. The liquid level on the bubblecaps is freely adjustable allowing a flexible adjustment of alcohol content and aroma of distillates. In addition, the increased copper surface design guarantees high catalytic function.
