![]() Purity Vodka has won repeated gold medals in all of the world's most prestigious spirit competitions.
Purity Vodka comes to life in a proprietary pot still made of copper and gold at 13th Century Ellinge Castle in the south of Sweden. Purity Vodka is made exclusively from natural ingredients including estate grown wheat and barley. The still has a mash volume limited to 600 liters (158 US gallons) and allows the distiller up to 65,536 settings to the recipe when distilling. The pot still process, which can only be carried out in small batches, is both labor intensive and demanding, but the result is unsurpassed. During the thirty-four distillations, ninety percent of the liquid is lost and only the "perfect cut" is selected as the heart of Purity Vodka. This final spirit, reaching 96% vol. (192 Proof), is so pure that no filtration is necessary, thus leaving all the natural flavours and character in the vodka. The refined spirit is then carefully reduced by using a mix of 70% deionised water and 30% natural, mineral rich water, and blended with tailor made organic column spirits which are made from the very finest wheat. "Small-batch distillation in a pot still results in an astonishingly smooth vodka loaded with character. Its oily texture is dominated by minerals and umami, backed up by delicate tones of white chocolate, vanilla and liquorice. Purity Vodka is the crown jewel of ultra premium vodka."
